I have the Lee Valley Tools router bits. They work fine. I think they are about $30 a set. I haven't tried to cut strips with a bench bandsaw or any other bandsaw for that matter, so take this for what it is worth. I think you may be disappointed with the strips milled from a bench bandsaw if this is what you intend to do. Maybe someone who has tried this can give you some info. A stationary sander is handy to have though.
