I'm getting ready to install the forward bulkhead in my RBA. I'm using combination hatch/bulkheads for this boat. I want to use the forward bulkhead as a foot brace as well. how do I get a perfect placement of this forward bulkhead before gluing it in place. I don't have my seat carved yet but I do have backband supports and backband installed. I don't know how much the seat and thigh braces will change my foot placement.

anyone have any ideas especially those that use bulkhead for foot brace.
