: Yes. The plans are well detailed. The design is very simple, though the
: transitions from one cross-section shape to another as you move down the
: blade are tricky to plane. I have to hold the plane at a 45-degree angle
: to the push direction while planing the middle part of each blade, so
: there is less of the plane base in contact with the wood. That way, it can

I just read it as I'm working my way through a collection of back issues I bought. Good article. Interestingly, John's design features a thicker, more rounded blade profile than Chuck's, which is what I prefer.
