What's the best way to clean up hot-glue residue from an epoxy surface?
I had some scrap strips holding my hatches in place all winter, and by the time I removed them, they were holding TIGHT. These were the regular white glue strips from Walmart. I had to use a heat gun to soften the glue, to remove the strips, but a residue remained.
Is there a solvent that will clean this up quickly (if so which solvent?), or is sanding the best bet? The residue gums up sandpaper pretty quick. I am ready to attach my hatch lips to the underside of the deck, but the residue is in the way. Otherwise I'd just leave it alone.
