I am not an expert on BS1088 but I bought some okoume from a company in LA. It had BS1088 stamped on it, made in France. The 4mm was $26 per sheet which seemed really cheap to me. The down side of the plywood I bought is that the exposed veneers are very thin, less than 1 mm. I have thus sanded through the veneer in some places on the Cirrus that I am slowly building. John at CLC told me that the 3 layers should be equal thickness. Oh well, you get what you paid for.
