Great place. One of our favorite paddle spots is Heyburn. Easy shot for you up to "Pond De Ray" too :-) We should get together sometime. Have you thought of attending the Port Townsend Rendezvous (August 8-10)?

If you are thinking of building, that's the place to be. Lots of builders and boat types. I'd highly recommend it. Many here on the board will be there. You can camp or motel. I'd offer a camp site, but it looks like we'll be in a motel this year. Ask around the board, though, as there should be plenty of people with open spots.
