So far, I'm loving it. I wanted it to be a stiffer than standard for better support, so I sacrificed the stock Pygmy plastic thing to cut a stiffener to fit. Also cut a couple blocks of minicel to go behind the plastic to fill out the volume of the pack. That allowed the load adjustment straps to take up part of the load and provide another dimension of adjustment, though that doesn't mean much to your project. A loop of bungie and a spring clip attach to a padeye in the cockpit to hold it up and back appropriately. Wish I had some pics to post for that detail - I'll snap some if anyone would like.

I haven't experienced Kent's stretching problem yet, but only because I haven't really 3D'd the boat. That's set for this weekend - I'll report if I find anything meaningful. Normal in/out/use has been fine.
