Air bubbles are a curse and seem to appear no matter how carefull you can be. An air bubble is just a space covered with a small fragile skin of cloth over the top. They are right up there with voids in ply.

I would remove any you can see because they can potentially hold water, moisture and even sand and grit and have the potential at some stage or another to collapse into a little crater.

Bubbles aren't too hard to sort out. My best fix was to cut them out with a craft knife (go around the edge and peel off the 'blister'). Then I mix up a goop of epoxy and chopped strands off some left over cloth. Then I splodge it into the hole, let it cure and sand it back. It comes out almost invisible.
