Sorry sage, I've no Idea.
I have been wondering if there is a reason (other than to not look like a throw back, fashon monster, etc) to not use a Hockey helmet, which you could fit a full face cage on.
I think a friend of a friend did somethig simillar to you. he flipped, and ended up dragging his face down several meters of rocky river bottom. He really damaged his face, I don't think he kayaks any more.
