Although I am not a SOF builder (one S&G done and starting on a Stripper) I think I can help you with a cypress supplier. There is a place in Largo called Axley Bros. SawMill, Inc. 12300 62nd Street North (727-531-8724). (No affiliation, just heard good things about them.) They deal exclusivly in cypress. I have never purchased from them but a friend bought some cypress boards for a strip built canoe. He was very pleased with what he got and his canoe looks great.
