An uncle of mine was by today and took a look at a frame I've resently completed. We talked a bit about covering it and he suddenly suggested a rubber cloth that is used to cover flat roofs. He said the seams can be glued and ironed watertight, and he found it to be durible.
I was a bit concerned about weight, but he reasured me it came pretty thin, and I got to thinking about the anual coat of paint fabrics would be require.
Has anyone ever used this material (sorry I don't know its correct name) or know its properties? What do you think of useing this?
Thanks for any feedback.
