Cool! Look, there's a white shark expert, Ralph Collier who is intensely interested in any interaction, sighting or encounter...or heaven forbid, an attack. You might recognize his name from the rash of recent sightings off LA...he's the expert the news misquoted. His website is linked, and there is a report form which you don't have to follow to the letter, but use as a guide. Ralph studies white shark behavior, focusing on the interaction with four groups:
1. surfers.
2. kayakers
3. swimmers
4. divers

He's a tremendous individual, a leading expert driven by a life-long passion for the study of sharks, and he's a really terrific person, too.

To respond to your post, is that something or what! I'd love to read the details of the sighting. I'm very much into white sharks since the first one and have been immensely fortunate to have accidentally encountered a second big white off La Jolla last year, which we also took it's picture.
