I've been working in acetone vapors for 20 years in a large industrial lab thus far without any major health problems. I keep my garage well ventilated. I hadn't heard that acetone was a known carcinogen but then again, so is peanutbutter. Where did you get your info on the carcinogenic nature of acetone? To the best of my knowledge, it has no real chronic side effects, just a few acute symptoms if you suck it up the nostrils or bathe in it. Perhaps the MSDS the company puts out should be suspect. That would be no surprise to me.
