: I used latex paint pigments that I got from the paint counter at Home Depot.
: I just asked them to fill up a film canister and they did it for free. ( I
: had them fill up 5 (white, black, red, blue, and yellow) so I can make any
: color I want.) It only takes a few drops to give the epoxy a deep color.
: With one or two it stays kinda translucent. Good luck.

Although this doesn't apply to epoxy, it may be of help to someone wanting a custom paint color. I painted the interior of a canoe I recently finished with Interlux anti-slip deck paint. I thought the white paint would cause too much glare even though it was a matte finish, so I brought it to Home Depot to tint it. Prior to doing this, I called Interlux and they told me no way on having their paint tinted. The rep said that it was made with special tints. Well, I did it anyway. I poured half the paint (in case it didn't work) in another container and brought it to Home Depot. I selected one of the paint samples that I liked and they mixed it. I've had the canoe out a couple times without any problems. Usual disclaimers apply.
