: I am interested in a Great Lakes Meet at The Beach (GLMATB) for all of us
: from the Midwest who want to but, can't attend the east coast one. If
: interested, I have a way to determine where to have it. If interested post
: what great lake you're closest to and what beach - that would allow
: kayakers launching rights - you might frequent. It would be nice to have
: it about mid-august since the water is just now getting warm and my yaks
: are still in two pieces. Tonight I began taping them together for
: seam-glassing.

: We live on the South East shore of Lake Michigan about 25 miles north of the
: Indiana border, and the beach that we could use – I’ll have to double
: check on this - here would be Lions Beach in St.Joseph Michigan.

I think its a great idea. August water temp's should be in the 70's
I'm due east of Lake Michigan near Lansing.
