I don't think two coats will be enough for me either. I'm thinking that I'll sand down to the tops of the fibers and still have dimples to fill. The idea (which I picked up here, but I can't remember from who) is to keep from building up too much epoxy and keep the weight down. If I happen to have enough on in places, then this will keep me from adding a fill coat where I don't need it. I wouldn't be surprised if some places will need two more fill coats since I'm pretty aggresive with the squeegee.
