: I would like to take my LT17 plans, change the lofting stations to
: 11.25" and make a 15' 10" boat (by my calcs.). Doing that with
: the side panels looks fairly simple but the bottom panels have extensions
: on each end that are done from full size drawings. How do I scale these
: down? Do I go ahead and use the full size and then do some creative
: planing on the ends when I'm stitching the panels together to make it
: "look right"? Any advice appreciated. I've built three boats
: from kits but now I'd like to try one with plans so I'm currently in
: uncharted territory, but hey, that's the fun part. I have "The New
: Kayak Shop" and considered using the plans in that book for the CLC
: 16 but can't figure out how to "full size" the bow & stern
: extensions in those plans.

Maybe a Xerox machine could reduce the copies by your required amount?
Good luck, Dave
