Peter Millar in Vancouver was building a boat in Morris' shop, and drilled a bit too close to the top of his deckbeams. He sistered on some blocks, and it looks fine.

Why do you want to sister both sides? I'd think just the bottom would be enough. If you don't tell anyone why they're there, they'll think the sister is intentional!
