Yo

I am in Wellington and have a damp copy of Nicks plans for an expedition single in my hot little hands (arrived today?). I also have a 6 x 2 of demolition kauri that is cool, but probably too heavy to use for anything other than highlight strips and keel reinforcing.

I have monkeyed around with a stitch and tape guillemot and am 3/4 through building a second. I stripped a coaming on my British seagull outboard racer which was as satisfying, so I am boring ahead with a strip plank kayak project.

I intend to make a casual start on my expedition single, setting up the forms and cutting up some Western Red cedar strips (man that stuff is light)in the next couple of weeks.

If you want moral support email me. If you want technical support I won't be much help since this will be my first stripper :) .

Good luck

Pete
