Interesting. Even if there's turbulent flow behind the old, thinner skeg?

I hate to say it, but since I use the skeg only about 2% of the time, most of my exercise was academic.

The Avocet just doesn't have the maneuverability of my Guillemot...even with the skeg up! *sigh*
