Nice to meet you on this forum! Thanks for the compliments, my primary source of info was always this BBS, great participation by lots of great folk . . .

My kayak physical problems probably go back to my youth, when it was fashionable to get muscle bound - Never was able to sit flat on a floor, the legs and back didn't like that position . . . ;-) I could keep up with car traffic on a bicycle, but can't sit in a darned kayak very well . . .

Your planned trip sounds like an adventure, I'll look for a picture chronology when I check in next - That's sorta what I was hoping to do, now any major expedition will have to take a somewhat different format . . .
