Scraping green or even cured epoxy is a great strategy. I use a Sandvik scraper and some no-name scrapers I got from Luthiers Mercantile years ago. I like the no-name scrapers best; great steel. I've found that the back side of an old gouge I have does the best job for burnishing cabinet scrapers.

My experience with building the Cirrus is that no matter how I finished/sharpened/burnished the scraper it dulled pretty rapidly. Much faster if the epoxy was well cured. I found that kissing both sides with a file (held flat to just clean off the dulled burr) and a couple of dressing strokes on edge worked best. No burnishing. This would give a couple of edges good for 10 to 15 minutes of scraping. When it gets dull throw the scraper in a vise, a few strokes with a file and your good to go.
