What is proper way to store this

John,
If the wood is green or pretty damp, I store it under cover, like tin roofing, outside, out of the sun. I sticker it, that is, place sticks between the boards for air to circulate.
If dry, I keep it on a lumber rack (any shelving will do) supported to prevent any warping.
