Steve - any chance these spots are near the edges of the hatch covers or deck at the hatch openings? Sounds like spots that had some excess moisture - when they get hot it can stress the glass. I picked up a couple on my Return where the epoxy had worn off the edges of the hatches.

(I'm not sure what your "very hot" weather was like, but I suspect it wasn't what we typically put up with in Arizona, so I'm reluctant to blame it on hot weather alone.)
