The Silhouette struck me as being very deep.

I also found it not to have much initial stability, and tons of directional stability when upright.

Does it seem deep to you, too, or was that just my perception?

: It's interesting that you should say that, as I have both boats and find that
: they are as different as night and day. The Silhouette has much lower

: less. I find the AA relaxing to paddle, but the Silhouette forces me to
: stay on my toes in rough conditions. It occasionally catches me offguard,
: especially in following seas. The Silhouette tracks strongly, whereas the
: AA is very maneuverable. Both boats weathercock a bit, but not
: uncontrollably.
