In Response To: Epoxy: Removing Duct Tape Goo (Grant)

: Before I went away for the weekend I was working on the hatch seal. After
: cutting out the hatches I had taped them back into position in order to
: work on the seal. The duct tape has now left quite a residue on my hard
: won smooth epoxy deck (sand, sand, sand).

: What should I use to remove the duct tape goo without melting the epoxy?

: Thanks in advance.

I use a product called "Solvoplast" sold in drug stores for removing band-aid glue from the skin. I have read of some builders using one of those large rectangular white pencil erasers to rub the glue into balls then just pick it off.
