Hi Pete,

Good to see you building again :) I have been recommended Selleys Aquadhere Tradesman as well from a few builders here in NZ. As David pointed out above look for the words polyaliphatic, there are a couple of other makes at Placemakers as well. Tested it out last weekend, it set fairly fast and was sandable a few hours later. Gorilla glue would be good but as you said it foams alot and I am suspect of the join unless it has been clamped well and there is no gap.

I should be starting my 1st stipper in the next couple of months - Race ya :) What woods are you using. At $35 a metre for 300mm x 25mm I would like to keep away from Cedar if possible and will be using Paulonwia as a light colour.
