The rounder hull of a baidarka will have a little more room and a little more speed than a Greenland design....but there are a lot of factors at play.

Maneuverability is a big function of rocker. You can also gain maneuverability with fine ends, a wide middle, and skill with leaned turns.

Morris' or Cunningham's books are also good for Greenland kayaks. (And Morris discusses baidarkas, too)

For a straight baidarka, Brinck has a fun, easy style.
