Actually Chip, from the brief discussion I had with her, I think it's more a case of: "If you MUST build one, the SOF doesn't generate so much dust, so build that."
Appreciate the complements...
If anyone has any doubts about the quality of Chip's work from the pictures he's posted and his site, I can honestly say his stuff looks even better in person.
His foot powered pump is a marvel of engineering.
