I used the following method ...
routed plastic rudder cable tubing along hull near hull/deck joint. Then cut small rectangular wood blocks (~3/8" x ~3/8" x ~1/2"). I liberaly coated them in epoxy after predrilling a small home on one side. I then bought cable straps (for coax cable) & loosely screwed them tho the small blocks. I then epoxied the blocks on the hull just below deck (iside) at key places. I ended up using 4 blocks/straps per cable (2 in cockpit & 2 in aft storage compartment) These cable straps look line a rolled-over piece of plastic with holes i drilled in overlapping ends. You can find them at hardware store or Radio Shack where cabling is sold. These easily hold the cable in place & allow easy removal/adjustment of the cables if needed.
I can get a pic if you want it!
: I am intalling my rudder cables prior to gluing the hull and deck together.
: Any advice on attaching them to the hull? Should I be doing this prior to
: taping the inner seam as I would think the cable should run right along
: the seam but it will be dificult to access after the deck and hull are
: together
