Quite often, you can loosen the wires a bit and work it out that way. Just bending a wire a little too tight somewhere will pull it one way or the other..
Had that problem on the Rob-Roy. It was my wiring. Loosened them up and started tightening at the ends, just a little ahead of the other wires and that insured that they were aligned. I brought mine all down to within 1/2 to 3/8" all over and then pulled the ends together and insured a good fit, then gradually, a twist at a time, brought the rest together. Sanding will leave you with different size panels... and no way to get it symetrical, side to side.
What you do to the hull will also have to reflect in the deck assembly or you will have an adjustment to get them to fit.

If those panels are computer/laser cut, you don't want to be sanding off anything without checking it out first.

What to do? Sand the ends even? Just
: leave it? Is this a good excuse to buy a plane?? I don't know if it makes
: a difference performance wise, but I just don't like the look of it. I've
: emailed the kit maker (Water's Dancing) but they are sometimes slow to
: respond to their emails. I'm not sure what caused this, but I suspect it
: was due to the fact that the puzzle joints had a little bit of play in
: them while I was joining the hull panels.
