Today was an absolute blast! We put in the ribs on my daughter's SOF and she really got into it. After we went through the process basics, she took over the majority of the work, pulling ribs from the steam box, pre-bending them on the jig, and fitting them into place. She is really feeling like this is her boat (and I am feeling proud as hell of her). I had hoped that this was going to be a joint project, rather than more time for me to be out in the garage, so I am really glad to have her interested and participating. Hopefully, we will be able to keep up the momentum and interest for the next couple of weeks and finish it up in time for R2K3.
