I saw the photo before I read your post, and I could tell she was really into it. You deserve to be proud! Good job for involving her, and great for raising a child who has such interests!

: Today was an absolute blast! We put in the ribs on my daughter's SOF and she
: really got into it. After we went through the process basics, she took
: over the majority of the work, pulling ribs from the steam box,
: pre-bending them on the jig, and fitting them into place. She is really
: feeling like this is her boat (and I am feeling proud as hell of her). I
: had hoped that this was going to be a joint project, rather than more time
: for me to be out in the garage, so I am really glad to have her interested
: and participating. Hopefully, we will be able to keep up the momentum and
: interest for the next couple of weeks and finish it up in time for R2K3.
