Hi Shawn,

I live on NZ's "4th" island. Waiheke is a small island in the Hauraki Gulf about 1/2hrs ferry ride from downtown Auckland. You guys are more then welcome to pop over while in NZ. The place consists of vineyards and more vineyards but there is some great kayaking around here ( http://www.issystems.co.nz/kayak/waiheke.htm ) and I should be able to scrounge a couple of extra yaks if paddlings on you itinerary.

Cheers
GrantG

: Hey guys,

: Which Island do you guys live on?

: My brother is going to take a year-long "sabbatical", and has a
: work visa in NZ. His plan is now to work in the boatbuilding industry, and
: possibly build river dories.

: Anyway, my wife and I are planning to visit him in late January or early
: February of next year, and I'd love to meet up with one or both of you
: while I'm in country.

: Best regards,
: Shawn
