Hmmm... perhaps my wording was poorly chosen. It's probably more accurate to say that no browser should cache content it recognises to be dynamic, or it has been instructed not to.

I'm happy to argue the toss on this with you but it's probably not appropriate on this list. The HTTP RFC would be a good place to start and work from there.

Have you tried going directly to this link? It's not what you'd expect and you certainly wouldn't want this in your cache.

The browser should not cache the index pages nor the infdividual message pages as the site would not work as desired if that were the case.
