: Hello all,
: While I was at work today my wife decided she would try to help me finish the
: frame work on my kayak. As it turns out the aft deck stringer got pegged
: down way out of alignment. Does anyone see a problem with cutting the
: dowels (if possible) and moving them to the correct location/positions?
: Thanks again
: Richard
What Sing says. I had to do the same thing on my front deck.I just glued the dowels in place, drilled through them for the second holes. Mine were slightly overlapping the old dowels and the glue held them in place without any problems.
I wish I could get my wife to take an interest in building kayaks. Has she started her own?
