Just another thought.
When you say it is mostly in the football area and around the waterlines, I believe that in additional to all the info so far, what may also be contributing is the very hot boat being taken off your roof racks and suddenly dropped into cold water. The heated wood, glue, and epoxy all expand and shrink at differnt rates during these conditions, especially if there is very small pockets of air trapped between layers of glass.
