Ken,
I just finished my RBA and paddled it for the first time today. I paddled on the Nashua river outside Boston so I can only comment on flatwater performance right now but will be racing it in the ocean next weekend.
First impressions
1. It is the fastest boat I have ever paddled! No problem maintaining 6 mph and above.
2. Tracks better than my Guillemot ES but also responds well to leaned turns.
3. Very loose initial stability but seems to have nice secondary stability. I will need to explore this further in ocean waves but I love the way it feels.
4. Rolls like a dream
Jack
