: outside of your replacement block all the way through and into the 'meat
: of your existing stern' to resolve any location/lining problems.

Not a bad idea and it addresses the problem of adding too much more weight to the finished yak. The solid wood block would be no more than 2 inches deep at most and could easily be doweled into the end pour which was generous. I'll look into this idea more.

: If nothing else it would sort of be practice for that Baidarka that you will
