: simply cut off the ends during stripping, and added vertical strips to the

: and stern. Though your boat needs a much more extensive treatment, veneers,
: following the general stem shape, or a shaped block as Pete mentioned might

: the job. On the Hazen Double pictured, I did no end pour as the strips were
: pretty rugged when glassed. Sorry about the pic quality, these were the

I'm definitely going to prep the yak for a solid wood bow and stern. I love the idea of using vertical pieces to enhance the look. If I can work it I'll use the idea. The challenge will be to build the add-on so it is aligned to teh keel. Aight, I gotta get into the garage now and get to work, I am definitely enjoying this reincarnation.
