I didn't have an angle grinder, so I used a drum-shaped, cheese-grater-like attachemnt in my cordless drill. The reversible feature is handy, to work all contours without scuffing up virgin territory. I also unchucked the attachemnt and used it handheld. The thing has about the same "tooth" as sharkskin.
