I used 6 pair in the front and 8 pair in the rear hatch of a Guillemot. After a few trips it was obvious that the magnets were too strong. Wet, cold fingers couldn't remove the hatches, after turning fingernails backwards a few times (yeouch) the magnets nearest the hatch pulls were eliminated. If you use a better hatch-pull design (I just did the deck recess - hatch lip combo) it shouldn't be a problem.

For my next stripper some type of webbing pull is the plan. The rare earth magnets are impressive, just be careful playing with them, I shattered one and a piece embedded itself into the workbench. Not to mention all the cool purple pinch spots on the tips of my fingers.
