They should go snugly in to the end of a 1/2" vinyl tube. You can glue them in place but they hold snug without doing so. The vinyl tube goes into the bag and is cemented in place. You need to created a "neck" -- about .5" greater than than tube on both sides -- for accepting the tube. Hot iron a seal as close to the tube as possible and then use cement on on the exteriror of the tube when inserting into the neck.
