This kayak was designed according to the dimensions
requested by the builder. That being, a 14' LOA,
a 19" beam and a 100+ lb load ( paddler, boat, gear).
Though small, this kayak can easily handle 150+ lb loads.
I gave little thought to child height, shoe
size, etc. If the fore deck is too low or too
high, it can easily be modified.
