You can probably skip the pump and sponge. I would assume there will be more GP's available for borrow than Euros....send an email to Mike Hanks or Don B.

55ºF water. It's cold. A farmer john wetsuit and a drytop is just about a minimum.

I'd rent a 3mm FJ wetsuit. As Joe says on the R2K3 page, wet suits or dry suit rentals are available at Port Townsend Outdoors (http://www.ptoutdoors.com/index.htm) and the PT Dive Shop. Dry suits are really, really, really nice!!! (get one!)

Bring sunscreen, bring munchies, bring microbrews (if you indulge), bring plenty of water, a wide-brimmed hat, be ready to visit a lot!
