Another consideration is the type of webbing.

Nylon webbing stretches when wet, shrinks when dry.

Polypropylene webbing is more dimensionally stable.

Nylon webbing looks better, and generally has a finer, tighter weave. If it looks bigger and "loopier", and less stiff, it's probably polypropylene.
