I stumbled across this website and found it quite interesting. This guy is building sailboats using the same basic strip methods that we are using. Very cool looking boat.

Does anyone know of plans for a simpler version of what this guy is doing? I would love to have a cedar strip "laser type" sail boat but this is a bit more involved than I want (I have no plans to race it, I just want to mess around - and don't want to spend $550 for the plans). I would also look at a stitch and glue boat if there are no strip plans out there
