The pic was taken on the Silver River, which flows from Silver Springs, Fl.(just out of Ocala) to the Oklawaha River. You can paddle upstream from just above the Oklawaha all the way up to the head spring, Silver Spring, and mingle with the world famous glass bottom boats. The boats take tourists out on the river for a view of the underwater world and the springs that feed the river. (Pic below)

This is the site of the "original" Tarzan movies. The woods bordering the river are filled with Rhesis monkeys from the movie making days. You will usually spot a few gators on the river also, but thats normal for my neck of the woods.
