If you're anywhere near New Hampshire, I would attend or drop by the Newfound Rendezvous on Sept 12, 13, 14. You can try a bunch of boats there and make the right decision for yourself by paddling it. Plus you can bring your canoe and display it as well as check out all the canoes and kayaks there and... check out some of the building demonstrations and... meet all kinds of builders and compare notes. It's a really nice time.
