It appears fromt the photo that your seat back is above the coaming. You will find this to be a majory pain when doing re-entries. It will snag and fall forward as you try to get in and you'll end up sitting on it. Additionally, tall seat backs will chafe if you paddle with proper torso rotation. If you want to keep this seat back, I suggest trimming it down as low as possible while maintaining comfort, but definitely below the coaming. You might also want to consider using a back band in lieu of the seat back. While it never hurts to experiment, there's a good reason why the seat systems in most high performance kayaks are very similar.
